Nokia Welcomes You Back:Five Phones to be Unveiled

Nokia E1 TA-1000 passes 3C certification, coming soon

Nokia under HMD Global is set to announce Android based smartphones in 2017. Some of the these devices are rumored to be announced in first quarter of 2017 in MWC(Mobile World Congress 2017) itself with a focus on Budget or Mid range devices, yet rumors of a flagship Nokia device are still floating around. We have already seen leaks around Nokia D1C,Nokia P1& Nokia Z2 smartphone which gave us a sneak peek on what we can expect.

Adding credibility to these rumors, a new Nokia LTE smartphone has just popped up on Chinese certification agency (Tenna) 3C indicating the public launch of the device may happen soon. The 3C listing doesn’t reveal much except the model number of the device as TA-1000 and the fact that it comes with standard 5V / 2A charging support which indicates no support for fast charging. Absence of fast charging clearly indicates that it is not a flagship device but only an entry-level smartphone. The listed device appears to be Nokia E1.

Rumors indicate that Nokia E1 sports a 5.5-inch display, powered by one of Qualcomm’s entry-level SOC chips of Snapdragon 200 series, and comes with just 1GB of RAM. It is rumored to run on Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system out of the box.

Nokia C1 is another smartphone in the works

There’s no information as to when this phone will see the light of day, but HMD Global has expressed its intentions to deliver two high-end Nokia smartphones next year.
The device could have 5.2 and 5.5-inch displays, as well as 4GB or 6GB of RAM capacity. One of the two phones could very well be the Nokia C1, considering that the device is said to run Snapdragon 830 SoC and have 4GB of RAM.
The phone could be made available in multiple storage variants, including 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. It might draw power from a 3,210mAh battery and run Android 7.1.1 out of the box. In addition, it could have dual-rear cameras with 12 and 16MP sensors, as well as a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2017.

Nokia to Release Two Android Smartphones with Snapdragon 820

Both Android-based Nokia smartphones will boast 2k display resolution
Both handsets will have a 2k display resolution and come with Z-Launcher System UI, which is based on the latest Android Nougat 7.0. The latest Android OS version should be released in the coming months.
Regarding specs, Snapdragon 820 chipset will be featured on both smartphones, although the latest processor model from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 821, has been released just recently. Nevertheless, the Android-based Nokia smartphones are expected to come with a full-metal body and have IP68 certification, which means the devices are protected against water and dust.
Rumors also point into the direction of a 22.6MP rear camera on one of the smartphones, which could actually be called the Nokia P1. The two devices could launch in late 2016 or early next year, so more details on the upcoming Nokia smartphones running Android OS are bound to surface in the coming weeks.

So this is it for now will bring back more of the updates and this is Anubhav Signing Off.
